Factors that make agarwood buds have nice smell

- Input materials are natural products. They can be Agarwood chips, Agarwood Base, Ant Agarwood, Mountain Agarwood, Wild Soil Agarwood... The materials need to be pre-processed and cleaned (soaked and scrubbed to remove dirt and dust)

- Mixing ratio of litsea bark (natural plant adhesive): Incense makers will use this adhesive mixed with agarwood powder to shape the agarwood buds. Mixing ratio < 10%, < 5% will give a better scent
- Incubation time is an equally important factor. Agarwood buds need to be incubated for at least 3 months for litsea bark is dissolved. The longer the agarwood buds are incubated, the better the scent will be
- Depending on the input materials, the scent will be different. In general, natural agarwood buds have a pure, warm scent, light sweet scent, mild, light fatty scent, gentle and smooth, not pungent, not causing eye irritation or nasal discomfort
