How to Preserve Agarwood Bracelets for Long-Lasting Quality

Avoid Water Exposure: Do not let it soak in water continuously for a long time, because it will fade the color of the bracelet or seriously damage the beads of the bracelet.

Keep Away from Perfume: Avoid spraying perfume directly on the bracelet or the skin where it is worn, as the agarwood may absorb the perfume's scent, altering its natural agarwood

Avoid Contact with Cosmetics: Do not apply lotions, or cosmetics to the area where the bracelet is worn, as these products can stick to the beads and affect their aroma.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Keep your bracelet away from soap, dishwashing liquid, and detergents to prevent damage to the wood and its fragrance.

Limit Exposure to Sweat: Avoid wearing agarwood when participating in sports activities that cause a lot of sweat, or strenuous labor activities that can cause a lot of sweat or going to the sauna. Too much sweat secreted at one time will have a strong impact, affecting the agarwood beads

Protect from Smoke: Minimize exposure to smoke from grilled food or hot pots, as it can alter the bracelet's fragrance. Recovery of the original scent may take time.

Proper Storage: In case the bracelet is not used much, store the bracelet in a sealed jar (make sure the bracelet is dry, not damp before storing the jar, you can add a desiccant bag)

Step 1: Use a clean towel, soak it in warm water, then wring it dry and wipe the bracelet. After wiping, leave it outside for about 1 hour or more, until the bracelet is completely dry naturally (avoid direct sunlight).
Step 2: Put the bracelet in a clean, odorless glass jar. Leave the bracelet in the sealed jar for a while (about 4-5 days or longer). You can add a desiccant packet in case the bracelet gets moldy.

2.  In case the bracelet is moldy:

Step 1: Wash the bracelet with warm water, wipe the bracelet with a clean towel
Step 2: Use a hair dryer, dry at low to medium heat until the bracelet is dry.
Step 3: Put the bracelet in a clean, odorless glass jar and dry it in the sun for about 15-30 minute. Check for evaporation in the jar. Dry the jar and continue to expose to air to remove the evaporation.
Step 4: Leave the bracelet in a place with natural air for 1 session to balance the temperature of the bracelet. Afterward, put the bracelet in a clean, odorless glass jar. Leave the bracelet in the sealed jar for a while (about 4-5 days or longer). In addition, depending on the quality segment of the bracelet, there will be separate handling cases. Please refer to the specific handling method for your bracelet from the store where you purchased the bracelet.
